This photo depicts one of many picnics we enjoyed on Peel Island circa. 1972. Peel Island is known variously to Quandamooka First Nations People as Teerk Roo Ra, Dairkooreeba, Chercrooba. The island was charted by Matthew Flinders in 1799.
